Return Policy

We have a 14-day return policy for change of mind. All returns are subject to inspection and approval.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it — unworn, unused, with all tags attached, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, contact us at info@thelanternman.com.au. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label and instructions. Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

If an item is reported as damaged, marked, or faulty after receipt, the following process applies: • We will send you a Returns Assessment Form to complete along with clear photos of the item, packaging, and any alleged damage. • You must lodge a damage report with Australia Post (or the relevant courier) and provide us with the official report/reference number. • Once we receive your completed form and valid report number, we will issue a return shipping label. The item must be returned to our mailbox in its original condition.

Please allow up to 14 business days for our assessment. If approved after inspection, we will process your refund or exchange. Returns showing signs of customer damage or misuse will not be accepted.

Return Shipping & Fees Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrectly sent by us. A 20% restocking fee may apply to approved change-of-mind returns to cover handling and processing.

Item Condition Items must be returned in their original, unused, and resalable condition. Any signs of use, wear, marking, removal of tags, or damage caused by the customer will result in the return being rejected with no refund issued.

Exceptions / Non-returnable Items Certain types of items cannot be returned, including perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. We cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the original item (once approved) and make a separate purchase for the new one.

Refunds We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you’ll be refunded to your original payment method (please allow time for your bank or card provider to process it). All return decisions are at the sole discretion of The Lantern Man Collective. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not strictly comply with this policy.
